Illness, Disease or Loss

This post is for any prayer requests you may have for any illness or sickness experienced in your life or for others if you just know they need prayer. This can be as specific or non-specific as you would like. We would like to be able to help in any way we can and prayer is always a welcome comfort.

  • Please pray for Matthew H. He is 34 yrs. old and had a bone marrow transplant last year for leukemia. He currently has good days and bad days. His family is a good support system. Pray for healing for Matthew and continued strength for his family.

  • UPDATE FOR MATTHEW...he has many side effects ffrom his illness. More recently he's had a rash from head to toe and he's had 2 biopsy's taken from his tongue. He's been feeling discouraged as of late. Please continue to pray for total healing and encouragement for Matthew and his family.

  • Please pray for Neva. She is having pancreatic surgery on Aug 21 in which her Dr has told her this is the toughest surgery he does. She will be in hospital for 8-10 days, then will have a 6 week recovery at home with someone caring for her. She is trying to sell her store and would like to have this done by the surgery date.

  • Please pray for Arnold G. He has had neurological problems since May which has him in a wheelchair. He is having financial burdens with medical expenses. He is trying to get in a Mayo clinic either in Minnesota or Florida as they are outpatient clinics and would be less expensive. He lives in Tennessee and is surrounded by family who help. Pray for complete healing and that he will be able to get into a Mayo Clinic. The clinics are not taking patients now because they are overbooked.

  • UPDATE FOR NEVA...she made it through surgery and has been doing good according to doctor. She sees oncologist today regarding upcoming chemotherapy. Pray for healing. Also, her store is temporarily closed until new owners take over. The new owners are still working on money issues which is making it difficult for Neva as she doesn't know what the future holds.

  • UPDATE FOR NEVA...Neva is in the middle of 4 bouts of Chemo. She should be done with chemo in April. She is doing ok. She is still trying to sell store. It would be a big relief to sell it. Please pray for health and selling of store.
